If you went to Northern State College back in the 80's you'll definitely want to join us for a fun get together. Though we're calling it a Northern event, it's actually open to ANYONE who wants to show up!

This event will feature entertainment by members of the original Black Velvet Band, a group of Northern kids who got together in 1985. They will be joined by later band members, college friends and a number of local musicians.

As this event is open to the public anyone who wants to get up onstage and play is welcome to jump in! Bring your tuba! Bring your spoons! Bring your guitar and make some noise on our beautiful outdoor stage!

If you wanna sit down and enjoy the music you'll need to bring your own lawn chair. There will be a few chairs provided, but if you bring your own you'll be better prepared.
Come by Boat, Kayak or JetSki
The best seat in the house at these events is usually in the water. We highly recommend you anchor the pontoon off our backyard somewhere and bring along some delicious beverages. A floaty with a drink holder is definitely your best bet!

How did we survive the 80's? 'Cuz we were totally awesome that's how! Get a chance to see some of your old friends you haven't seen in years, and listen to all the wonderful stories you completely forgot about or maybe just repressed!
